Department of Lifelong Learning Organises the internship drive for 4th semester students of masters in rural development
Jammu, August 24: The internship drive for 4th semester students of masters in rural
development was organised in department of Lifelong Learning on
23.08.23 by J&K Dairy Producers, Producers and Marketing
Cooperatives Limited. Ms. Neetu Dhar (Chief Co-ordinator, JKDCUL),
Nidhi Pathania and Nikhil Pathania conducted the drive. JKDCUL is a
CBBO (cluster based organisation) empanelled by NABARD for forming
FPO’s (farmer producers organisations) under CSS (central sector
scheme) since 2020. The organisation provides handholding and
professional support to develop economically sustainable FPOs while
facilitating adequate market and credit linkages. Director DLL, Dr.
Jeevan Jyoti guided The students about developing professionalism
while working in field. She also thanked the organisers for providing
opportunity to our students and supporting them. The organisers
discussed about formation of FPO’S and scope of contribution of
students in the field. Even the growth avenues and future perspectives/
scope of students in this and allied organisations was discussed. Faculty
members of DLL Dr. Priyanka Sharma, Dr. Pallavi Sachdeva and Dr.
Sandeep Singh were also present in the meeting.
