Munish Sharma inaugurates free Medical Camp
Jammu, November 16 : Jammu and Kashmir BJP senior leader and former Vice Chairperson, JAKFED, Munish Sharma, inaugurated a 1-day Free medical Camp near Medical College, Maheshpura, Jammu. It was organized by Dr. Anil’s Heart Care Centre at B.R. Medical.
Over 300 people had reached this camp, who got free tests for ECG (12 Lead), HbA1C, blood Sugar, ECHO Color Doppler etc. An awareness camp was also held to educate the people about various ailments, particularly preventive measures for heart attack as major attacks do occur in winters, besides other health problems.
Munish Sharma, on this occasion, said that organizing such free medical camps are of great help to the poor people as they cannot afford costly tests for detection of a disease and suffer a lot. He said that serving the poor and needy is a noble service and the medical firms and doctors rendering free medical aid are really doing a good work for humanity, which need to be appreciated.
Dr. Anil Kumar Sharma (Cardiologist, Gold Medalist), MD, DM, speaking about the motive of organizing such medical camps, said that the people treat doctors next to God and as such it becomes the first duty of every such person as doctor, to do best possible to help the suffering ones as all have too much faith in a doctor and believe that they are safe and healthy till someone in white apron is beside them. He said that such medical camps will be organized in other areas as well so that more and more people are benefitted.
Vijay Bhardewaj, a prominent social activist, had also reached the medical camp venue to boost the morale of the doctors and their teams for giving their services to the poor. He also appreciated Munish Sharma saying that even having associated with a political party, the former VC, has came to be known as a popular face in the public due to his simplicity and pain for the poor.
