Deputy Commissioner Poonch reviews preparedness of stakeholder departments
POONCH, MARCH, 04: Deputy Commissioner Poonch Yasin M.Choudhary today chaired a meeting to review and discuss the arrangements and preparations made by stakeholder departments for the Secondary and Senior Secondary Examinations being conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE).
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Tahir Mustafa Malik, Chief Education Officer, Bishamber Dass, DEPO, Narinder Mohan Suri, Deputy Chief Education Officer HQ Mendhar, Mohammad Latief, Assistant Secretary JK BOSE Sub Office Poonch, Rakesh Kumar besides heads of Educational institutions of district Poonch were present in the meeting.
The meeting focused on ensuring a seamless and fair examination process, with thorough deliberations on various aspects, including the deployment of competent personnel such as Superintendents, Deputy Superintendents and Invigilators.
Speaking at the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner stressed the importance of maintaining a secure environment for the examinations. He emphasized that schools lacking a compound wall should have robust security arrangements in place to prevent unauthorized individuals from entering the premises and engaging in disruptive activities. Furthermore, he stressed the need for stringent checks on students entering the examination halls to maintain the integrity of the process.
Additionally, the Deputy Commissioner highlighted the significance of adequate lighting during the examinations. He underlined that all examination halls should be equipped with proper lighting arrangements to eliminate any inconvenience or discomfort faced by the students while attempting their papers.
