Deputy Commissioner reviews progress of Jal Jeevan Mission schemes in Rajouri
RAJOURI, October 16: In a bid to provide clean drinking water to rural communities, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal chaired a pivotal meeting to assess the progress of the Jal Jeevan Mission schemes.
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner underscored the utmost importance of top-notch work quality, on-time project completion, and vigilant supervision to meet the goals of the mission.
The meeting highlighted significant strides already achieved in Rajouri, where 293 JJM schemes have been greenlit, and 252 schemes are actively underway.
The Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the component wise progress of the schemes in progress.
To expedite scheme completion, DC issued a resolute directive for officers to adopt a results-oriented approach and adhere strictly to predefined timelines.
This meeting serves as a testament to the unwavering commitment of the District Administration to implementing the Jal Jeevan Mission effectively, ensuring that rural areas gain access to this basic necessity – clean drinking water.
Deputy Commissioner rallied them to persist with dedication and unwavering commitment in achieving the objectives of the mission.
