Development gained momentum, peace established in J&K after 2019: Dr. Pardeep Mahotra
The development process initiated under Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014 has taken Jammu & Kashmir to new heights in all spheres, with people showering praises on the leadership of PM Modi. After, 05 August, 2019, development gained further momentum and peace was established in J&K.
Dr. Pardeep Mahotra Media Incharge, J&K BJP said this while slamming leaders of regional political parties in the UT for making false and misleading statements by linking development, peace and progress with Article 370.
Dr. Pardeep Mahotra said that Jammu & Kashmir has been damaged by the self-centered leaders of regional political parties, the most since 1947. They are trying to hoodwink the people by declaring themselves to be the well-wisher of the region, and by making attempts to seek blessings of the people on issues which have no relevance today and are part of the history.
“For decades, Jammu & Kashmir and its people suffered badly due to the ill-decisions by the then successive Union governments and the state governments of Jammu & Kashmir, which were mostly headed by Congress at the Centre and NC, PDP in the Jammu & Kashmir,” said Dr. Pardeep Mahotra.
“The decision to abrogate Article 370 on August 05, 2019 and to turn J&K into two Union Territories, resulted in significant development in the fields related to Infrastructure, tourism, industrial development, agriculture, education, skill development, health & medical infrastructure, renewable energy, digital & IT development, women & youth empowerment, and a marked improvement in security peace and stability,” said Dr. Pardeep Mahotra.
Dr. Pardeep Mahotra said that those shedding crocodile tears for the statehood must answer that why these developments remained elusive during their rule over erstwhile J&K state and why the communities like Dogras, Kashmiris, Women, Valmiki, Paharis, Gujjars, Bakerwals, OBCs, PoJK refugees, WPRs, PwDs and others had to bear intensive pain and sorrow under their misgovernance for 70 years.
“While Narendra Modi government has been focusing on extending the most prestigious projects of connectivity, health and education, the leaders of regional parties are finding it difficult to stand in the public by the growing popularity of PM Modi and BJP,” Dr. Pardeep said and added that it is, in fact, the ‘Will’ (Ichha Shakti) to deliver which matters and the local leaders lack it.
