Development is zero, BJP relying on proxy candidates: Sachin Pilot in Poonch

18 Sept: Addressing a massive rally in Poonch, former Union Minister and Congress leader Sachin Pilot claimed that development is nil in Poonch and also said BJP is dependent on proxy candidates.

While campaigning for Congress candidate from Surankote Mohd Shahnawaz Choudhary, Sachin Pilot said that these elections are not ordinary as after prolonged time the Assembly Polls are held in J&K and it is pertinent to comprehend the changes in political landscape of J&K. He added that the politics in J&K from 8-10 years need to be understood from front and behind of the curtain.

Sachin Pilot said BJP has no contribution in conduction of polls in J&K as it was the direction of Apex Court. Clearing the air on it, Sachin Pilot said that BJP did not want polls to take place in J&K because it is a pact driven by Congress fear. On the directions of Supreme Court, elections are being held.

He also added that for tall claims of BJP yelling 400 par, 500 par during Lok Sabha polls, people have taught them the lesson and they had to make the Government on two clutches in Delhi.

Lauding Congress stalwart Rahul Gandhi, he said that “Bharat Jodo Yatra” from Kanyakumari to Kashmir wherein Rahul Gandhi marched 4,500 kms was an impressive feat. Remember Rahul Gandhi said that he wants to join Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh and it is owing to that youth are overwhelming getting inclined to Congress.

We have seen politics of Double-Engine Government whose its engine didn’t take long to defuse smoke, Pilot took dig at BJP.

Kashmir has been subject to violence in past but I (Sachin Pilot) applaud to people and Army for combatting terrorism to extreme level.   

Sachin Pilot appealed people to acknowledge who has stepped in the battlefield to inflict votes and who is in ground to win elections. Sachin Pilot has said that Statehood has been snatched and why are outsiders allowed to rule J&K! Targeting BJP, he said that the saffron outfit tries to polarise and fragmentize the communities unlike the Congress that believes in unity. The politics played by BJP is uncalled for and does not pander to the basic requirements of the common masses in J&K.
