DH Kishtwar Administration organise Free Multispecialty Medical Camp
KISHTWAR, June 17: District Hospital Kishtwar in association with District Administration organised a day long Free Multispecialty Medical Camp in the premises of the hospital, here today.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Devansh Yadav inaugurated the camp in presence of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr Mohammad Yaqoob Mir, Medical Superintendent, Dr Yudhvir Singh Kotwal and other dignitaries.
More than 500 patients were provided free consultation by Dr Arun Kumar Sharma (Hepatologist & Gastroenterologist), Dr Neeraj Gupta (Cardiologist) and Dr Ranjeet Rathore (Urologist). Free Medicines were also distributed to the ailing patients. The patients were provided with the facility of free Laboratory Tests, Ultrasound, ECG, X Ray, besides 20 ECHO were also conducted.
During the multi-specialty camp, the Deputy Commissioner had the opportunity to interact with the Medical Superintendent and the Consultancy team. They shared valuable insights regarding the healthcare facilities available to the patients attending the camp.
The public appreciated the Medical Superintendent District Hospital for holding such a mega camp for poor and needy patients, who cannot afford to go to Jammu / Srinagar for medical checkup or follow-up for one or other reasons. They appealed to hold such camps on regular intervals to benefit the patients belonging to District Kishtwar and adjoining areas.
Medical Superintendent District Hospital Kishtwar hoped to continue these type of camps in future keeping in view the overwhelming response of the public.
