Dharmarth Trust celebrates 74th Republic Day with full patriotic fervour
JAMMU, January 27: Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust celebrated 74th Republic Day with full patriotic fervour at the Trust’s Central Office at Shalamar Road here today.
The programme commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by Ajay Gandotra, President of the Trust along with Trust’s Secretary Ashok Kumar Sharma in presence of employees of the Central Office. This was followed by saluting of the National Flag and singing of the National Anthem.
Addressing the gathering, President Ajay Gandotra said that Republic Day is the day to reiterate our commitment to uphold the nationalistic values for which the freedom fighters sacrificed their lives. Asserting that preserving rich culture and traditions is a significant part of nationalism, he said that temples across the nation are indeed an inseparable component of culture which needs to be preserved and maintained properly.
Gandotra said, “As president of the Trust I assure that we will make collective efforts to keep everybody along for the progress development and proper maintenance of temples managed by the Dharmarth Trust thus upholding the faith of the people.”
The Trust President asserted that he will leave no stone unturned to ensure that rich traditions of the Trust to upkeep various religious places and shrines is maintained to optimum. He said that the Trust will fully ensure the best facilities to devotees at these pilgrim destinations besides maintaining the same with further new initiatives aimed at raising the footfall of visitors at these places being taken care of by the Trust.
Secretary Ashok Sharma, in his address, greeted the people on the occasion of 74th Republic Day and paid rich tributes to the freedom fighters. Thanking the employees of the trust for maintaining the traditions of the Trust, he expected full support of the employees as they continue to contribute tremendously working in a mission mode for the upliftment of the Trust.
