Dharmarth Trust celebrates Ram Navmi with religious fervour across j&K

Havan, Sunderkand Path, Vishesh Aarti held at Iconic Raghunathji Temple, Jammu

JAMMU, April 6: The J&K Dharmarth Trust today celebrated the auspicious festival of Ram Navmi with immense religious fervour and devotion at all Ram temples under its management across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

The main celebration was held at the historic Shree Raghunathji Temple in Jammu, where a sacred Havan was performed amidst chanting of Vedic mantras. The religious ceremony witnessed the participation of Ranvijay Singh, Trustee, Kunwarani Dr. Ritu Singh along with Dr. P.S. Pathania, President, and Ashok Kumar Sharma, Secretary of the Trust. The Puran Aahutis were offered with full devotion, followed by a Vishesh Aarti in the sanctum sanctorum of the revered temple.

A massive gathering of devotees thronged the temple premises from early morning, forming long queues to participate in the special Pooja and other spiritual rituals to mark the birth anniversary of Lord Ram.

Adding to the spiritual grandeur, Atal Dulloo, Chief Secretary of J&K, accompanied by his wife, also paid obeisance at Shree Raghunathji Temple on this pious occasion.
Extending his greetings on Ram Navmi, Ranvijay Singh expressed hope that this sacred festival would usher in peace, prosperity, and harmony across Jammu and Kashmir. He said, “Festivals like Ram Navmi are an integral part of our glorious cultural heritage. They not only strengthen the bonds of communal harmony but also reinforce our commitment to the values of peace and brotherhood.”

Vikramaditya Singh, Trustee of J&K Dharmarth Trust, in his message, also extended his heartfelt greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navmi. He emphasized that the life and teachings of Lord Ram continue to inspire generations towards righteousness, compassion, and truth. “Ram Navmi reminds us of the timeless values of Dharma and service to humanity. May this sacred festival bring harmony, strength, and spiritual awakening to all,” he said.
Later in the evening, a soulful Sunderkand Path was organized in the temple complex, drawing a large number of devotees. The event concluded with the distribution of Parsad among the attendees, spreading the message of divine blessings and unity.
