DHEW, Mission Shakti organises Awareness program at Girls High School Narbal

BUDGAM, June 15: In a remarkable effort to champion women’s empowerment and foster societal transformation, the District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW) and various stakeholders today jointly organized an awareness program at Girls High School Narbal.

The event held in commemoration of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, aimed to enlighten students about the government’s invaluable initiatives, namely Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) and Nasha Mukt Bharat, which advocates for gender equality and combat substance abuse.

Under the leadership of the District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO) Budgam, the DHEW team played a pivotal role in raising awareness among the attendees, igniting a spirit of action, and ensuring the resounding success of these programs.

Recognizing the transformative potential of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao and Nasha Mukht Bharat, the dedicated team of the DHEW tirelessly conveyed their message, working towards positive social change and striving to build a fair and inclusive society that is free from the clutches of substance abuse.
