DHEW Reasi organises awareness program on women centric schemes

 REASI, May 19: District Hub for Empowerment of Women Reasi under Mission Shakti today organised an awareness camp on Women Entrepreneurship Programme, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao and Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan here under the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.”  

DHEW team organised the camp especially for the youngsters who are presently enrolled in skill development courses at PMKVY Office.

 The DHEW Team disseminated information among the youngsters regarding the Women Entrepreneurship programme like PMEGP, Tejaswini and Women Development Corporation so that they can become self reliant by taking financial assistance under these programmes to start their small business units.

Apart from this, the youngsters were sensitised about the ill effects of drugs and their consequences and provided National free helpline  number *14446* and Anti Drug helpline number 9070907017  to report cases of drug abusers and drug peddlers to eradicate the drug menace from the society. They were also made aware about Sukanya Samridhi Yojana.

At the end, pamphlets regarding women centric schemes were also distributed.
