DIC Kulgam organizes awareness programme on PM Vishwakarma

KULGAM, MARCH 26: An awareness programme on the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Scheme was today held at the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Kulgam, organized by District Industries Centre Kulgam.

The event was attended by officials from the District Industries Centre (DIC) Kulgam, including the Principal of ITI Kulgam, and featured key presentations by Waseem Zehgir, Deputy Manager, and Arshi Aarif, Assistant Manager from the State Level Programme Management Unit-PM Vishwakarma, Kashmir.

The session commenced with a presentation by DIC Kulgam officials, outlining the objectives and benefits of the PM Vishwakarma Scheme, which aims to support traditional artisans and craftspeople by enhancing their skills and providing financial assistance. 

A significant portion of the event was dedicated to a detailed explanation of the e-commerce onboarding process for beneficiaries, delivered by Waseem Zehgir and Arshi Aarif.

They addressed various implementation concerns and provided solutions to issues raised by participants.

The programme facilitated active interaction, enabling attendees to gain a comprehensive understanding of the scheme’s benefits. 

Officials encouraged participants to utilize the resources offered by the PM Vishwakarma Scheme for their professional development and business growth.
