DIC Leh organises PMFME awareness camp in Chushul

LEH, July 27: An awareness camp regarding the PMFME Scheme was organised by the Department of Industries & Commerce in Chushul today.

During the awareness camp, it was informed that the initiative aligns with the government’s vision of bolstering the food processing sector and strengthening rural livelihoods.

Further, it was informed that the PMFME Scheme seeks to enhance the competitiveness of micro food processing units and promote formalization in the food processing sector by providing 35% credit-linked subsidy to both new and existing enterprises along with training, research, marketing, branding, and hand-holding support.
