DIET Kishtwar organises Janbhagidari awareness for Staff Members
KISHTWAR, JUNE 02: Guided by the vision of the Prime Minister of India to encourage active participation of people as the central focus of India’s G20 Presidency, DIET Kishtwar, under the directions of SAMAGRA SHIKSHA, J&K, organized an awareness camp for DIET faculty in collaboration with Pratham NGO.
The experts from DIET Kishtwar, along with Team Leader Pratham, held an awareness program on the prestigious project and briefed the participants about the series of activities and programs to be conducted from 1st to 15th June 2023 across the district of Kishtwar. The aim is to promote and endorse the theme of “Ensuring Foundation Literacy and Numeracy (FLN),” especially in the context of blended learning.
SAMAGRA, J&K has proposed seven activities, such as drama, cultural programs, rallies, etc., in schools on different themes like FLN, NIPUN Bharat, G-20, and NEP 2020. These activities will be implemented in all educational institutions across the district.
Principal of DIET Kishtwar, Ashok Kumar, apprised the participants about the road map ahead and how to complete the activities on designated themes from 1st to 15th June 2023 in all educational institutions of the district. The different events will be conducted as per the directions of the authorities in schools, followed at the zonal level, and finally on 12th and 13th June at the district level. This will allow the selection, forwarding, and showcasing of best practices at the UT and National levels in preparation for the G20 4th Education Working Group meeting in Pune.
For the successful implementation of Janbhagidari events in all schools, DIET Kishtwar has identified more than 30 ZNOs who will work in coordination with SNOs of different schools and the Pratham team. The zonal level competitions will be held for different activities.
A one-day orientation program was conducted for ZNOs on at DIET Kishtwar before they implement the same in their respective zones and allotted areas. This will be done through both virtual and offline modes to maximize participation, which is mandatory for all educational institutions as directed by the authorities.
