Director Agriculture kick-starts Vegetable Seedling distribution at VSM Farm Gangbugh

Says Vegetable seedling distribution campaign to continue across the valley in phased manner

SRINAGAR, February 15: The Director Agriculture Kashmir, Chowdhury Mohammad Iqbal today visited Vegetable Seed Multiplication Farm Gangbugh and kick-started the distribution of Vegetable seedlings among the farmers of the area.

Addressing farmers, Director Agriculture expressed satisfaction and said that the department has to a large extent succeeded in providing early season seedling of different vegetable crops to the farming community.

He said that it is very early in the case of many vegetables but the department has already started the distribution of seedlings at many places in the valley and in the coming days this process will continue across the region.
