Director FCS&CA visits Kupwara

Reviews stock & supply position, inspects sale outlets in Lolab

KUPWARA, March 01: The Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA), Dr. Abdul Salam Mir today visited Kupwara to review the supply position of ration in the frontier district.

The Director convened a meeting with concerned officers including Assistant Director FCS&CA Kupwara, Wali Mohammad and TSOs at the meeting hall of D.C complex Kupwara and reviewed the functioning of the department.

He received the feedback from the officers and took a detailed review of stock and supply position of food grains and other essential commodities in the district including border areas.

The Director was informed that all ration items and essential commodities are sufficiently available in the district.

Earlier, the Director visited Diver (Lolab) to meet fire victims where he distributed blankets and ration among them.

The Director also inspected some sale centres at Lolab and checked the quality of ration there.
