Director RDD Kashmir takes review of schemes implemented by Department at Ganderbal
GANDERBAL, December 21: Director Rural Development Department Kashmir, Shabir Hussain Bhat today visited Ganderbal and took a detailed review of progress of various schemes being implemented by the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj in the district.
At the outset, Assistant Commissioner Development Ganderbal, Dr. Bashir Ahmad Bhat apprised the chair regarding the progress of various schemes of the department through a detailed presentation at Conference Hall Mini Secretariat Ganderbal.
He further apprised the chair about the achievement of targets w.r.t. MGNREGA, PMAY-G, UT Capex Budget 2023-24, Mission Amrit Sarovar, RGSA, SBM-G, 14th FCA and other sectors of the department.
The Director underscored the department’s vital role in rural infrastructure development, urging officials to prioritize the timely completion of construction projects.
The Director deliberated in detail about the purpose and essence of the Centrally Sponsored Schemes like MGNREGA, PMAY-G, SBM-G and RGSA being implemented by the department.
He reviewed the physical and financial status of MGNREGA and SBM, urging progress and attention to specific areas.
Highlighting the department’s commitment to excellence, he urged for showcasing noteworthy works and achieving financial targets on time.
The Director emphasized the importance of their collective efforts in realizing the department’s vision.
Additionally, he directed officials to avail local sanitation services to maintain clean surroundings.
In addition, he unveiled a comprehensive vision for responsible expenditure and discussed strategies for the successful implementation of all schemes of the department.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Development Ganderbal, Dr Bashir Ahmad, Executive Engineer REW, BDOs, and other officials of the Rural Development Department.
