Director RDD reviews implementation status of development schemes at Kupwara
KUPWARA, January 10: The Director, Rural Development Department (RDD) Kashmir, Khalid Majeed today chaired a meeting at the conference hall of DC Office, here to review the implementation of schemes, status of developmental works of RDD in Kupwara.
At the outset, the Director took detailed work wise status of the works and expenditure incurred under UT CAPEX (CD & Panchayats) 2022-23, UPDS, Rural connectivity and infrastructure and DDC/BDC buildings.
Director also reviewed the status of construction/repairs and renovation of Panchayat Ghars and the expenditure made, funds released under RGSA and 13th FC, 14th FC, besides, People’s plan Campaign, status of preparation of GPDP and progress on panchayat awards was reviewed.
On the occasion, the Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Hilal Ahmad Mir presented a detailed presentation on status of ongoing works, targets, achievements, works tendered and allotted and overall implementation of flagship schemes in the district through a powerpoint presentation.
Stressing on the timely execution and completion of all developmental works, the Director emphasised on eco-friendly asset creation and work in proper coordination with PRIs.
The Director stressed on making robust development plans as per the norms and requirements and DPRs with proper estimations. He also appreciated the RDD Kupwara for good work in creation of durable assets.
Among others, the meeting was attended by ACD, ACP, Executive Engineer (REW), BDOs and other concerned officers.
