District Administration Kishtwar pays tributes to Martyrs of Kokernag, Rajouri
DC & ADC participate in last rites of Rifleman Ravi Kumar of Trigam
KISHTWAR, SEPTEMBER 14: In a solemn ceremony held at the VC Hall of the DC Office, senior Officers of the District Administration Kishtwar today gathered for 2 minutes Silence to pay their heartfelt tribute to the brave martyrs who made the ultimate sacrifice in Yesterday’s encounters with militants in Kokernag and Rajouri.
Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav IAS, along with Additional District Development Commissioner, Sham Lal, Joint Director Planning, Mohammad Iqbal & several other district officers and officials of the DC Office Complex joined in this solemn occasion to honor the fallen heroes.
The event began with a poignant remembrance of the valiant soldiers who laid down their lives while safeguarding the nation’s security the day before.
These courageous individuals demonstrated unwavering commitment and dedication to their duty.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Devansh Yadav along with ADC Kishtwar Inderjeet Singh Parihar personally participated in the last rites of Army Rifleman Ravi Kumar from Trigam, Sarthal, in the Kishtwar District.
Rifleman Ravi Kumar made the supreme sacrifice during an encounter with terrorists at Narla in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.
The District Administration Kishtwar extends its deepest condolences to the families of the martyrs and stands in solidarity with them during these trying times. The sacrifices made by these brave souls will never be forgotten, and their memory will forever inspire the community.
