District Bandipora triumphs as runner-up in thrilling Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Hockey Tournament

BANDIPORA, AUGUST 09: District Administration Bandipora took pride in acknowledging the exceptional achievement of the District Bandipora Hockey Team, who secured the runner-up position in the prestigious Inter-District Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Hockey Tournament.

The tournament, held at Pulwama, witnessed intense competition among various district teams, culminating in a nail-biting final where District Bandipora exhibited their remarkable skills and sportsmanship. Although they narrowly missed the championship, their performance stood as a testament to their commitment to the sport and their indomitable spirit.

The event was graced by the presence of Imtiyaz Ahmad, Joint Director Planning Bandipora and Nazir Ahmad Bhat, DYSSO Bandipora, alongside other esteemed officials from the department.
