District Development Commissioner reviews progress of Jal Jeevan Mission schemes in Reasi District

Sets Jan 15 deadline for completion of all components

REASI, JANUARY 3: The District Development Commissioner Reasi, Vishesh Mahajan, conducted a meeting with concerned officers to assess the advancements made under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in the district.

 SE JJM, CPO, ACD, XENs,DIO (info) and other members of DJJM committee attended the meeting.

The review encompassed various components of the mission, including the status of bore wells, progress in the laying of pipe network and allied infrastructure besides the financial status.

The DDC Mahajan directed concerned officers to further expedite the work and ensure the completion of all components of the schemes by 15th January.

DDC Mahajan directed all XENs not to leave Headquarters till the task is accomplished. 

Assistant Executive Engineers (AEEs),AEs and Junior Engineers (JEs) were directed to remain present at the  work site and share Geotag locations regularly until 100% completion of all pending works is achieved.

The chair directed for installation of pending IEC Boards on each site of WSS and subsequent online updation of the same.

DDC Mahajan underscored the importance of expediting pending projects to ensure that a significant portion of the population will get benefits from the ambitious Jal Jeevan Mission of the Government.

The DDC directed the concerned officers/ officials to mobilize their resources for the swift execution of all pending tasks within the stipulated deadline.
