District Election Cell intensifies voter awareness under SVEEP in Ramban
RAMBAN, SEPTEMBER 03: To boost voter participation in the upcoming General Election to Legislative Assembly 2024, the District Election Cell Ramban, under the guidance of District Election Officer Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, on Tuesday organized a series of informative and engaging programs as part of the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) initiative across the district.
The SVEEP team, led by the Nodal Officer for Assembly Constituency-54 Ramban, Kewal Krishen Sharma conducted an awareness program at Government Model Higher Secondary School Batote. The local Booth Level Officer (BLO) provided guidance to the students on filling out various electoral forms online through the NVSP portal. The students actively participated in the program, expressing their views on the importance of voting through speeches, drawings, and skits.
The District SVEEP team, along with Nodal Officer SVEEP 54-Ramban, organized additional awareness programs in the Batote marketplace. These events saw significant participation from voters, teachers, BLOs, and students. The awareness campaign was conducted under the overall supervision of District Nodal Officer SVEEP, CEO Ramban, Bikram Singh.
