District Hospital Udhampur granted 5 DNB seats by NBEMS
UDHAMPUR, March 4: District Hospital Udhampur was today granted 5 seats in DNB by National Board of Examination In Medical Sciences (NBEMS).
Assessment of the departments was conducted by different teams of Assessors in 2022 and after meeting the prescribed criteria and parameters the seats were granted in Department of Pediatrics (1 Post MBBS DNB and 1 Post Diploma), Orthopedics (1 Post MBBS DNB and 1 Post Diploma) and one in General Medicine.
All this was possible due to the guidance of Administrative Secretary Bhupinder Kumar, Director General Health Services Jammu Dr. Salim-ur-Rahman, Nodal Officer DNB Dr Jitendra Mehta and support of CMO Udhampur Dr Vijay Basnotra.
Dr Sanjay Kumar Bhat Medical Superintendent Dist. Hospital Udhampur and Dr Deep Gupta Nodal Officer DNB had worked hard in fulfilling all the Shortfalls and Criteria as per NBEMS norms.

DC Doda inspects RDD works, sanitary Conditions in Assar Panchayat
DODA, MARCH 04: Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vishesh Paul Mahajan visited Panchayat Assar and inspected the completed and ongoing works of Rural Development Department (RDD), the other day.
He was accompanied by SDM Assar Lekh Raj, and BDO Assar Anop Kumar along with field functionaries of Rural Development and Revenue departments.
During the visit, the DC inspected the work of Paca Path towards Shamshan Ghat, Tile work in Thakur Mohalla, Lane Drain from SBI Assar to Masjid Sharief Assar, Repair of WCD Majid Sharief Assar, Lane Drain at Badaani Bagh, Park at Baba Jeet Mandir, and other such works.
The DC also inspected sanitation and civic services being carried out by RDD in Assar Panchayat Market.
He enquired from the PRI members and local residents about daily waste collection, development activities, priorities and requirements of the areas.
DC impressed upon the staff to work with zeal and dedication to achieve the targets set for the current financial Year. He directed the BDO to expedite the pace of work and ensure timeline completion.
Instructions were also issued for regular door to door collection of waste material and maintaining Swachhta in the Block.
