District Library Kathua hosts Special Lecture for Kathua library Readers
Former Chief Secretary, J&K BR Sharma interact with Readers
KATHUA, April 09: Govt District Library Kathua today hosted a motivational lecture for aspirants in which Readers, prominent citizens in large numbers participated.
Former Chief Secretary, J&K B. R Sharma was the special invitee for the Guest Lecture. While interacting with the aspiring students, B. R Sharma who served at highest administrative posts of Chief Secretary emphasised on the students to stick to the basics and be consistent in whatever endeavor they undertook. He suggested maintaining of perseverance and dedication towards your goal besides participating in extra curricular activities as it will help in holistic development of the individual. He called upon the aspirants to engage in random discussions with their families apart from routine studies. B.R Sharma also suggested the aspirants for inculcating the habit of reading and making full use of the facilities available in the Library as this will aid in enhancing their knowledge base besides keeping them abreast with the latest happening around them.
A question – answer session was also held wherein aspirants sought answers to their queries and quelled their doubts regarding their preparations for competitive exams.
Earlier, Incharge District Library Kathua Sunil Sharma accorded warm welcome to the retired bureaucrat.
