Distt Admin Bandipora conducts Massive Drug De-Addiction awareness campaign in around 100 Schools
BANDIPORA, APRIL 07: As part of the IEC campaign against Drug Abuse, the District Administration Bandipora with active participation of Jammu and Kashmir Teachers forum successfully conducted drug de-addiction awareness programmes in around 100 schools of the district.

As part of the campaign, thousands of students were educated on the dangers and consequences of drug abuse. Special focus was given to the Morning Prayer sessions during which a nominated student delivered a 15-minute awareness speech to sensitize fellow students about the ill effects of drug use and promote a drug-free lifestyle.
Teachers in educational institutions during morning assemblies highlighted the core objective of the campaign and the commitment of the government in addressing the drug menace and challenges.
The programmes in schools were designed to make students aware of the grave dangers posed by drug addiction — not just to themselves but to the society at large.
The office bearers of JKTF emphasized the vital role of educational institutions in eradicating drug abuse from society.
The initiative received overwhelming support from across the district. Parents, in particular, expressed their gratitude to the district administration and JKTF and for taking such a meaningful step.
