Distt Admin Bandipora organises ‘At Home’ function for student participants of R-Day celebrations
Launches ‘Ask your DC’ initiative; holds interactive session with students
BANDIPORA, JANUARY 27: The District Administration Bandipora on Friday organised an ‘At Home’ function for the students who participated in Republic Day Celebrations on 26th Jan 2023 and launched ‘Ask your DC’ initiative for the students of the district.
On the occasion, an interactive session with the theme ‘Ask Your DC’ was also held for answering various questions of students including those related to career.
The Deputy Commissioner (DC), Dr. Owais Ahmed answered various career related questions of students and also shared his journey from school days upto becoming an IAS officer.
He said that through career counselling programmes the students get knowledge about future planning and termed it of utmost importance for the students as it enables them to understand career opportunities in different fields.
Dr. Owais stressed on dedication, discussions, consistency and self study to qualify any competitive examination. He asked students to be focused to achieve their goal in any field.
The DC also highlighted the role of extracurricular activities in all round development of the students.
The programme also witnessed awareness regarding drug abuse and ill effects of drugs.
Earlier, JD Planning Imtiyaz Ahmad congratulated the students and their teachers for their performance during R-Day Celebrations.
The programme was attended by District Nodal Officer Coordination Mohammad Ashraf Hakak, Padmashree Faisal Ali Dar, Joint Director Planning Imtiyaz Ahmed, DyCEO Bandipora Mohd Rafiq Parray, ZEO Bandipora, student participants of R-Day Celebrations, Students from Bal Ashram and other concerned.
