DLLJU organises three days workshop on Folder and Paper bag making at Ved Mandir, Jammu
JAMMU, February 12: The department of Lifelong Learning, University of Jammu in collaboration with Ved Mandir trust, Jammu organised three days workshop on folder and paper bag making for the children of ved mandir on its premises. The workshop was organised under the guidance of Dr. Jeevan Jyoti, Director, DLL.
The workshop was inaugurated by Pradhan, Ved Mandir, Sh. Suresh Gupta and Headmistress, Ved Mandir Pathshala, Mrs. Seema. Dr.Rewa Khajuria, coordinator of the workshop while introducing its themes highlighted the demand of skill based programmes for the students. Sh. Suresh Gupta in his inaugural address stressed upon skill development. Mrs. Seema while conducting encouraged the students to participate with enthusiasm in this workshop.
She added that the chief objective of this is to empower the students with adequate skill sets that will enable them to earn money and gain confidence.
Mrs. Pummy Singh was the special resource person of the workshop. About 22 students who have registered for the workshop attended the inaugural.
