DLRC Rajouri assesses progress of targeted schemes
RAJOURI, March 31: A review meeting was held by the District Level Review Committee (DLRC) in Rajouri, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, to assess the progress of targeted schemes launched by banks in collaboration with line departments. The meeting focused on various key points including CD Ratio, training of candidates to manage businesses under RSETI, flow of credit under annual credit plan, social security schemes, and progress in Aadhar Seeding of DBT accounts, among others.
The meeting noted that the CD Ratio stood at 52 percent as of December 2022, and measures are being taken to increase it in the district. Furthermore, 97 candidates have been trained under RSETI in business management, out of which 53 were linked with banks and 38 were self-financed.
Banks operating in the district have provided total credit of Rs 509.83 crore against the target of Rs 983.51 crores to priority as well as non-priority sectors under Annual Credit Plan, achieving 51 percent.
In addition, under special credit facility for street vendors (PM SVANIDHI), 365 cases have been sanctioned and disbursed with a total amount of Rs 41.00 lacs disbursed. Under NRLM, 720 cases have been sanctioned with 720 cases disbursed. The meeting encouraged banks to focus on priority sector lending to enhance the credit flow under ACP and work towards increasing the CD Ratio in the district.
The DC directed that the bank accounts of beneficiaries of different government schemes be linked to Aadhar to facilitate them to receive DBT benefits in their bank accounts. In regard to the progress of PMEGP, the meeting was told that under PMEGP DIC, PMEGP KVIB, PMEGP KVIC, JKREGP, 299, 366, and 17 cases have been sanctioned respectively.
The DC directed the bankers and line departments to work together with added vigour and zeal to achieve tangible results. The meeting approved Rs. 1089 crore Annual Credit Plan for FY 2023-24.
