DLSA Ganderbal organizes Awareness program for unorganized workers at Manasbal

GANDERBAL, July 10: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Ganderbal today organised an awareness programme for unorganized workers at Manasbal Park, Ganderbal

The programme was held under the supervision of Chairman DLSA Ganderbal, Ritesh Kumar Dubey and under the guidance of Secretary DLSA Ganderbal, Nusrat Ali Hakak.

The programme witnessed active participation from unorganized workers across various sectors, including street vendors, construction workers, domestic helpers, and daily wage laborers.

Fayaz Mohammad Bhat (Para Legal Volunteer) of DLSA Ganderbal educated the attendees about their rights and entitlements under different government initiatives.

Notably, this pioneering initiative aims to bridge the information gap and address the challenges faced by unorganized workers when accessing government schemes.

During the programme, Fayaz Mohammad Bhat (PLV) threw light on several government initiatives designed to uplift and support unorganized workers.

He also assisted participants in enrolling for the Ayushman Bharat scheme and provided step-by-step guidance on the registration process, ensuring all eligible individuals were successfully enrolled.

This initiative is expected to significantly bridge the gap between unorganized workers and the healthcare services they are entitled to.

DLSA, Ganderbal, expressed gratitude towards the participants for their active involvement and enthusiasm in embracing the benefits of government schemes.
