DLSA Jammu organises awareness program on “Fundamental Rights and Duties

JAMMU, December 22: District Legal Services Authority Jammu in collaboration with International Delhi Public School Jammu today organised an awareness program on “Fundamental Rights and Duties” in the school campus.  

Chief Guest for the program was Ashok Kumar Jain, Member Secretary NALSA while M.K Sharma Member Secretary J&K Legal Services Authority Jammu and  Yahaya Firdous Secretary District Legal Services Authority Jammu were special guests.

The students of International Delhi Public School Jammu were made aware regarding the fundamental rights and duties enshrined in the Constitution of India by the Resource persons   Mayank Gupta,   Ifra Nasir and   Deepali Kapoor (Panel Lawyers DLSA Jammu).

 The Managing Director (MD) International Delhi Public School, Suminder Singh and Principal,  Randeep Wazir besides other school staff and management were also present on the occasion.

The Chief Guest also inaugurated the Legal Literacy Club in the school in presence of Managing Director (MD), Member Secretary J&K Legal Services Authority Jammu and Secretary District Legal Services Authority Jammu. The Legal Literacy Club will help the students in knowing the law of the land and will also motivate the students towards legal education and profession.
