DLSA Kathua organises sensitisation programme for Investigating Officers

KATHUA, DECEMBER 22: District Legal Services Authority Kathua today organised a sensitization program for Investigation Officers (IOs) conducting investigation in different types of cases like NDPS, POCSO and for other kinds of offences.

The program, held here in the Conference Hall, ADR Centre, District Court Complex Kathua, besides imparting awareness on various aspects of Investigation provisions for remand, the time limit for seeking remand were also deliberated upon. The program was organised under insightful directions and supervision of Chairman,  District Legal Services Authority Kathua Ashok Kumar Shavan, (also Principal District and Sessions Judge Kathua) .

In the said program apart from IOs , Panel Advocates, Officials of Prosecution Wing and Panel Lawyers were also present.

At the end, an interactive session was also held with all the stakeholders present in the program. All the stakeholders expressed immense satisfaction and being benefited from the program and wished for more such programs to be held in future.
