DLSA Kathua organises Special Lok Adalat on matrimonial cases

KATHUA, March 04: As per the Action Plan issued by J&K Legal Services Authority, a Special Lok Adalat on Matrimonial cases was organized today by District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Kathua  here in the District Court Complex.

The Special Lok Adalat was held under the guidance of Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Kathua (also Pr. District & Sessions Judge, Kathua)  Jaffer Hussain Beg.

Three Benches for settling the referred Matrimonial cases were constituted in which Bench No. 1 was comprising of Chief Judicial Magistrate Kathua, Swati Gupta, and Munsiff JMIC, Kathua, Cheena Sumbria,; Bench No. 2 was comprising of Munsiff JMIC, Basohli, Jeevan Kumar Sharma and President, Bar Association Basohli Advocate Shub Kumar; Bench No. 3 was comprising of Munsiff JMIC, Billawar, Jyoti Bhagat, and Panel Lawyer, TLSC Billawar Adv. Jatinder Singh Bhadwal.

A total number of 14 cases were taken up for their amicable settlement out of which 2 cases were settled.
