DLTFC approves 26 cases for financial assistance under JK-REGP at Kulgam

KULGAM, December 21: A District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) meeting was held today at mini-secretariat, here under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam (Chairman DLTFC) Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat.

A total of 32 cases were placed before the committee and 26 cases were approved for Project cost of Rs.1.70 crore involving margin money of 59.50 lac and providing employment opportunities to 360 educated unemployed youth.

The JKREGP scheme is being implemented by Jammu & Kashmir Khadi and Village Industries Board (J&K KVIB) to harness and divert the potential and enthusiasm of youth for establishment of productive enterprise in the micro industrial sector and to create employment opportunities for others.

The bank representatives were directed by the chair to take the credit decision within 28 days from the receipt of DLTFC recommended applications from the KVIB Kulgam, also no security will be insisted upon by the bank up to Rs 10.00 lac except in agriculture, and allied security will be insisted by the bank beyond the project cost of Rs. 5 lacs.
