DMO Doda leads massive operation to combat illegal mining

DODA, August 03: District Mineral Officer, Sunit Kumar Manhas, led a massive operation to combat illegal mining today. The operation targeted illegal mining and smuggling activities across different areas of the district.

The results were significant, with 330 metric tons of screened crushed sand material seized in Kahara Tehsil at Zargar Stone Crusher. Additionally, one trolley filled with illegal minerals was intercepted and seized in the Gandoh area.

DMO Doda has been actively working to curb the illegal trade and had previously seized two loaded tippers of illegal minerals.
