Doda administration launches DOST, an online help desk for digital services
DODA, March 10: Deputy Commissioner, Vishesh Mahajan and ADC Doda Dr RK Bharti, along with other officers, launched a Help Desk called Doda Online Services Terminal (DOST) for online services. This was done to follow the Government of J&K’s directive to completely switch to digital service delivery. The launch happened through the ADBHUT Doda portal as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
DOST will provide assistance and training to the applicants/general public. A fully trained team will be available on all working days from 8 am to 2 pm at the DC office Complex in Doda to help with applying for online services, which include all kinds of services provided by government offices/departments in the district.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the Help Desk would handhold and assist service seekers/applicants in applying online and availing services. The Help Desk will also serve as a training platform for individuals who want to serve in rural areas by applying on behalf of the applicants in lieu of fees defined by the government for every service. The team will also help applicants check the online status of their applications.
The launch event was attended by ACR Doda, ACP Doda, SE JPDCL, SE PWD, SE JSD, CPO Doda, CMO Doda and other officials.
