Doda gets 25 bedded Child Care Institute- PALAASH
DC inspects available amenities after inaugurating vital facility
DODA, May 02: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda, Vishesh Paul Mahajan today inaugurated a 25 bedded Child Care Institute, PALAASH here in the presence of District Social Welfare Officer, Tariq Qazi.
The institute will provide shelter to the children in need of care and protection.
On the occasion, the DDC inspected the facilities available for the inmates of the institution including accommodation, food, education and other logistics. He also interacted with the students present on the occasion.
He said that the Child Care Institution (CCI), commonly known as PALAASH, will be providing special care and protection to children who need such services.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the DSWO to prepare a DPR for necessary repairs required in the building.
The programme was attended by officials of Mission Shakti and Mission Vatsalya.
