Doda police cyber crime unit recovers Rs 45,000 in online fraud case

In a win for cyber safety, the Cyber Crime Investigation Unit (CCIU) of the District Police Doda successfully recovered Rs 45,000 defrauded from a resident.

The prompt action came after Khalid Abrar, a resident of Bharat in Doda, filed a complaint regarding online fraud. The CCIU, led by PSI Ankush Nagra, swung into action and with their technical expertise, traced the defrauded money.
