Doda: Summer Camp activity organised to mark World Environment Day, Anti-Child Labour Day


DODA, JUNE 12: In continuation to the World Environment Day -2024 celebrations, a summer camp activity was organized by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with SAMAGRA and DSEJ, featuring the unique theme “Ek Paid Maan Ke Naam.”


Saplings, arranged by the Forest Department Doda and coordinated by Anu Radha, District Incharge Cultural and Educational Cell (CEO Office Doda), were distributed among students and teachers.


Participants from all classes and courses planted a tree each at designated locations, with each tree marked by a plate reading “Ek Paid Maan Ke Naam.”


In addition to the tree-planting, a student talk show was organized to raise awareness about various social issues. Simultaneously, International Anti-Child Labour Day was observed, with sessions educating students on child rights and the importance of education.


The event concluded on a joyful note, leaving participants inspired and motivated by the day’s meaningful activities.
