Dozens of prominent personalities from ST Community join BJP

UDHAMPUR, January 20: Dozens of prominent personalities from ST Community joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at Village Sial Jattan of Udhampur west assembly constituency.

The massive joining was held under the leadership of BJP District Udhampur President Arun Gupta in the presence of former MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia.

Prominent personalities representing the Gujjar/Bakerwal Community included Retired ZEO Bashir Ahmed Sumbria, Babur Chandel, Yasser Chandel and others.

While addressing the new entities, Mankotia said that BJP is a party that is loved by all the communities due to its good deeds. He said that with the support of all sections of society, BJP is set to sweep the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Arun Gupta, welcome all the newly joined people with garlands, emphasized on the party’s commitment to work for the upliftment of all the sections of the society, especially those which were neglected by other political parties for many decades.

District General Secretary Jeevan Sharma, Krimchi Mandal President Krishan Sharma, ex councillor Vikas Sharma, District Secretary Rahul Gupta, local Sarpanch Ashok Sharma were among the prominent BJP leaders present on the occasion.
