DPO Poshan conducts one day health check up camp at Panchayat Dheeran

UDHAMPUR, July 22: On the directions of Commissioner Secretary SWD, District Programme Officer, Poshan, Udhampur, Subhash Chander Dogra along with field staff of Poshan and Health staff of Health Wellness Centre, Dheeran conducted one day health check up camp at Dheeran Panchayat of Poshan Project Dudu Basantgarh for growth monitoring of children and identification of SAM/MAM.

As many as 18 children and one pregnant woman of 7 AWCs viz Dheeran, Randal, Sair, Dhountha, Baryalta, Bhagar & Chak Baryalta attended the camp. During the camp, weight, height and anemia check up was also conducted on spot to ascertain the MAM/SAM status. AWWs and AWHs were directed to be aware of all the schemes being implemented by the Poshan Department in coordination with other stakeholders.

During the visit, DPO, Poshan inspected various AWCs of ICDS Project Ramnagar and also directions to AWWs to maintain punctuality in AWCs and maintain all the AWCs record particularly survey registers, height and weight measurement registers and immunization record of all beneficiaries.
