Dr Kasim Chowdhary, hundreds join the BJP from Nowshera
JAMMU August 25: In a significant show of support, Dr. Kasim Chowdhary, a prominent social and political activist from Lam, Nowshera, along with hundreds of people from the Nowshera constituency, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the party headquarters in Jammu.
Retd Insp Mohd Hussain, Showkat Ali, Abdul Sitar Panch, Retd Master Om Prakash, S. Sukhwinder Singh Panch, Mohd Maroof, S. Rajendra Singh were among the prominent to join the BJP on the occasion.
Ravinder Raina, President of the J&K BJP, warmly welcomed Dr. Kasim Choudhary and others into the party fold and congratulated them on their decision to join the BJP. Raina expressed his enthusiasm for the growing interest among the youth, children, and elders in Jammu and Kashmir to become a part of the BJP. He highlighted the unwavering loyalty and patriotism of the people of Nowshera, acknowledging their consistent support in upholding national values.
Speaking at the event, Raina praised the BJP’s development efforts in the Nowshera area, including infrastructure projects like bunker construction in Western Nowshera, and the peace and stability along the LoC. He commended the successful implementation of various government schemes such as Ayushman Bharat, the Jal Jeevan Mission, etc. He further emphasized the party’s commitment to the mission of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, and Sabka Vishwas.”
On the occasion, all prominent personalities who joined the party lauded the various schemes of the central government. They reiterated the party’s dedication to development, citing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for all-round development in Jammu and Kashmir.
Arshad Mohammad, Rakesh Raina, Ajay Choudhary, and Chaudhary Sukhdev were also present on the occasion.
