He said that during these 10 years, decades of biased approach of the Congress and other parties has been corrected with the decisive government led by PM Narendra Modi.
“The recent statements of senior Congress leaders like Rahul Gandhi, Randip Surjewala, Supriya ShriNate, Shamnoor Shiv Shankar, Abhishek Manusinghvi, Digvijay Singh, Shashi Tharur, and many more have time and again disrespected the women of this nation. Congress has no respect for the ‘Mahila Shakti’ and thus neglected the 50 percent population with utter disrespect all these decades”, said Dr. Manyal.
“Modi government has taken concrete steps by initiating the schemes like ‘Lakhpati Didi’. Whether it was over 10 crore women beneficiaries of the Ujjwala Yojana, over 27 crore Jan Dhan accounts, special fixed deposit schemes, more than 27 crore MUDRA loans to women, or Mission Poshan, each of these programs introduced by the Modi government played a vital role in empowering women. This commitment has only been shown by the Modi government and this is the reason that women are supporting and voting in favour of Modi government”, said Dr Manyal.
Chander Prakash Ganga said that the Modi government launched numerous reforms and policy initiatives were implemented in India to enhance the lives of women and elevate their social standing. He said that in Jammu & Kashmir, the Modi government undid a criminal injustice with the women that was inflicted on them by Congress, and NC governments and annulled their rights after marriage.
Sanjita Dogra credited the Modi government with the reforms like Ujjawala Yojana, Jana Dhan Yojana, Mudra Yojana special loan schemes for entrepreneurship, political reservation, and many others which held key to the ‘women-led development’ concept of the Modi government.
