Dr. Narinder Singh, Vikram Randhawa holds public darbar at BJP headquarters
Dr. Narinder Singh, BJP National Secretary & MLA RS Pura-Jammu South and Ch. Vikram Randhawa, MLA Bahu held a public darbar at BJP headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Deputations from around the city called upon the senior leaders of party to share their grievances and requested for the quick redressal.
Among other issues, a deputation from Nawabad Sunjwan raised concern about lane, drains and electric poles. A deputation from Sainik Colony raised issue of out-of-order streetlights. A deputation from Sainik Colony raised requested for construction of lanes and drains. A deputation from Last Morh Gandhi Nagar requested for the improvement in civil infrastructure. A deputation from Gangyal requested for cleaning of drains. Two deputations from Ashok Nagar and Nai Basti requested for repair of leakage in drinking water supply pipes.
Dr. Narinder Singh, while listening to the grievances of the people emphasized on the need of public centric approach of the NC government in Jammu & Kashmir. He said that the priority of the government should onto be the people oriented and framing and executing the policies meant for making the lives of people easier. He said that the people were waiting for popular government in the region, so that their issues could be resolved in a time-bound manner. He stressed that BJP is consistently striving to give solutions to the issues faced by the people in a timely manner, he asked the NC government to pay heed to the people’s issues instead of making political statements only.
Vikram Randhawa said that the BJP is committedly serving the people and making every effort to sort out their issues in time bound manner. He said that the people visit the BJP offices with a lot of confidence that they would be heard and the party leaders try to upkeep their confidence. He added that while many issues presented were sorted out on the spot, the verbal and written communications were made to the concerned department officials for the rest of the issues.
