Dr Nirmal Singh, Sham Choudhary listens to public grievances at BJP headquarters
Jammu 01 July: In order to address the needs and daily issues of the common masses, Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu & Kashmir restarted the schedule of weekly sitting by senior leaders of the party at its headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Dr. Nirmal Singh, former Deputy Chief Minister, accompanied by Sham Choudhary, J&K BJP Vice-President & former Minister, Baldev Singh Billawaria, former Deputy Mayor, Anuradha Singh Charak, Vice-President, J&K BJP, and Ricky listened to the public grievances on the first day of the restarted schedule.
People visited the party headquarters in the form of deputations to present their issues related to electricity, revenue, scarcity of water, Pension, Cleanliness, and also other issues of a similar nature were presented before the senior leaders of the BJP.
Dr. Nirmal Singh, while listening to their issues and grievances, said that the BJP is committed to addressing the issues of the public 365 days in a year. He said that unlike other political parties, BJP is concerned for the people around the year and the party activists remain in public service even at the expense of their personal needs.
Sham Choudhary reiterated the party’s commitment to resolve the public issues at the earliest. He said that the party has restarted the public sitting schedule of senior leaders of the party so as to provide a consistent means of two-way communication in between the masses, the party, and the administration.
Senior BJP leaders immediately took the issues presented by the people with the concerned department officials telephonically and made written communications for certain issues.
