Dr. Tahir Choudhary Condemns Pakistan for Promoting Terrorism During Ramadan; Criticizes NC-led Government and Congress
BJP spokesperson Dr. Tahir Choudhary strongly condemned Pakistan for promoting terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.

His remarks followed the tragic encounter in Kathua, where four police personnel were martyred during an ongoing anti-terror operation.
Dr. Choudhary accused Pakistan of attempting to destabilize the region by supporting terrorist groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), which was involved in the recent attack.
He praised the bravery of the security forces and reaffirmed the BJP’s commitment to ensuring peace and security in the Union Territory.
While paying tribute to the martyrs, Dr. Choudhary criticized the National Conference (NC)-led government for its absence at the ceremonial wreath-laying event in Kathua.
“It is shameful that not a single government official or minister attended the event to pay respects to the bravehearts who sacrificed their lives for the nation,” he said.
He further targeted the Deputy Chief Minister, alleging that instead of consoling the bereaved families, the Deputy CM visited Kathua only to misbehave with officials.
“The Deputy CM’s conduct is unacceptable and shows the government’s misplaced priorities,” Dr. Choudhary remarked.
In addition, Dr. Choudhary slammed the Congress party for staging protests over the demand for statehood, calling it a politically motivated move.
“At a time when security forces are fighting terrorists and sacrificing their lives, the Congress is busy playing politics,” he said.
Dr. Choudhary emphasized that the BJP stands firmly with the security forces and the families of the martyrs.
He assured that the sacrifices of the fallen heroes would not go in vain and urged the people of Jammu and Kashmir to support the ongoing efforts to maintain peace and stability in the region.
