DRAC approves 16 Rent Assessment Cases at Poonch

POONCH, DECEMBER 12: Additional Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Tahir Mustafa Malik today presided over a meeting of the Rent Assessment Committee (RAC) here in the Meeting Hall of the DC office Complex.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held with the concerned departments operating from rented accommodations in the district, as well as the owners of these buildings.

A total of 18 cases pertaining to different departments were brought under discussion, out of which 16 cases were approved by the committee, while 2 cases were deferred for further review.

The rent assessment cases discussed by the committee included those related to the Agriculture Department, Education Department, FCS & CA, Poonch Campus University of Jammu, FCS & CA, Animal Husbandry, Agriculture, Labour Procurement Department, Handloom Department, Handicraft Department, ICDS Department, and Horticulture department.

Addressing the meeting, the Additional Deputy Commissioner urged the officers to ensure the timely payment of rent to the respective land and structure owners, while also emphasizing the importance of maintaining the safety and security of government and rented accommodations.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Zahir Ahmed Kaifi, Tehsildar Hqr. Jhangir Hussain, AD FCS & CA, Waheed Ahmed, Xen PWD, Imtiaz Khan, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Dr. S.M Younis, District Agriculture Officer, Munshi Ram, AHTO, Parupkar Singh, Poonch Campus Officer, (University Of Jammu), Dr. Rubia Bukhari besides CDPOs, Patwaris and other concerned officers.
