DRCS Management Committee discusses activity plan at Kishtwar
Vows to Strengthen set-up to scaleup Community Welfare
KISHTWAR, AUGUST 24: The Managing Committee of the District Red Cross Society today discussed the activity plan at its meeting chaired by Additional District Development Commissioner, Sham Lal.
The meeting focused on enhancing the society’s impact by refining its internal structure and responsibilities.
One of the primary objectives of the meeting was the appointment of the Executive Committee comprising 8. Notably, Mohan Lal was nominated as the Branch Secretary of Kishtwar, reflecting the Society’s dedication to effective local leadership.
Highlighting its commitment to community welfare, the meeting witnessed the formation of three vital sub-committees viz the Health Committee, the Finance Committee and the Disaster Mitigation Committee.
The Sub-Committees will play a pivotal role in addressing key areas of concern and ensure a well-rounded approach to societal well-being.
During the comprehensive discussions, the roles and responsibilities of the committee members were meticulously outlined. Emphasis was laid on the importance of dedication and unwavering commitment to the mission of the District Red Cross Society. The members were called upon to contribute their expertise and energy with utmost sincerity.
Additionally, the meeting witnessed an encouraging call from the Chairperson, ADDC Kishtwar to actively initiate membership drives. The aim of these drives would be to expand the volunteer base and extend the Society’s reach within the community, ultimately fostering a more robust and responsive support system.
The meeting was attended by Vice Chairperson, Dr. M Y Mir (CMO Kishtwar), Dr. Rishi Sharma (PO ICDS), Zubair Ahmed Lone (DSWO Kishtwar), Imran Kichloo (Treasurer/AO DC Office), Dr. Yudveer Singh (Medical Superintendent District Hospital), Sanjeev Parihar, Advocate Kuldeep Sharma and other members.
