Drug peddler arrested in Baramulla; 110 grams of contraband seized
In a significant anti-drug operation, police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 110 grams of contraband Charas-like substances from him in Baramulla district.

The arrested drug peddler has been identified as Mehraj ud din Mir, a resident of Chijhama Sopore. He was apprehended at a checkpoint in Chakloo, on the outskirts of Baramulla town.
During a thorough search, police recovered 110 grams of contraband Charas-like substances from Mir’s possession. A case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered against him at Police Station Baramulla, and further investigation is underway.
