Drug peddler arrested in Baramulla, 3.1 kgs of contraband recovered

In a significant breakthrough in the ongoing battle against drug trafficking, police authorities in Wussan, near Noorbagh Crossing, Baramulla, have apprehended a notorious drug peddler.

The operation led to the seizure of a substantial quantity of 3.1 kilograms of contraband cannabis powder-like substances from the accused.

The seized contraband, valued at a substantial amount in the illicit drug market, has been secured as evidence, and further investigations are underway to unravel the full extent of the suspect’s involvement in the narcotics trade.

Baramulla Police have also indicated that additional arrests may follow as the investigation progresses.
