Drug peddler held under NDPS Act, 7 gm heroin recovered

KATHUA, 9 May 2023: Kathua Police recovered approx. 7.11 grams of Heroin in the jurisdictional area of Police Station Kathua and 1 drug peddler was arrested on Tuesday.

On 8 May 2023, a Police team of PS Kathua during patrolling in its jurisdictional area apprehended one person namely Krishan Lal R/o Kullian Chak Drab Khan Kathua who was doing illegal trade of selling narcotics contraband like substance. During checking approx. 7.11 grams of Heroin like narcotics were recovered from his possession.

On this, an instant case vide FIR number 196/2023 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Kathua and further investigation was underway.
